I. General questions

Why do GILDE & Casablanca join forces?

As a family-run company, we have had a wide range of services as GILDE for over 60 years and as Casablanca Design for over 25 years. By bundling our common strengths, we want to be there for you faster, more personal and more extensively from a single source in the field and in the interior. We want to meet the ever-faster market requirements with clearly structured ranges for GILDE and Casablanca Design.

What advantages do I have as a customer of the "Association"?

 

  • In the future, you will have a contact person in the field and in-house service for your specific needs.
  • Access to the respective collections of GILDE and Casablanca Design.
  • They will be served from one warehouse in the future (in the course of 2021). This allows you to benefit from faster processing and optimised shipping costs.

 

II. Invoicing and Order Processing

From whom will I receive my bill in the future?

From 1st January 2021, you will receive your invoices from GILDE. Your contact persons in-house and in the field are always at your disposal for all questions.

What happens to my customer number? Do I keep my customer number?

If you were previously listed as a customer at GILDE, nothing will change for you.
If you have previously been listed as a customer at GILDE as well as at Casablanca Design, your customer accounts will be merged via the GILDE customer number from 1st January 2021.
If you have only been a customer of Casablanca Design, you can take over your previous Casablanca customer number. If this is not possible in exceptional cases, we will inform you at an early stage.

What happens to my existing orders?

Existing orders will be invoiced via GILDE from 1st January 2021.

What conditions apply to me as a joint customer?

In principle, the GILDE conditions apply. Our customer service is at your disposal if you have any questions.

Will I receive two deliveries for GILDE and Casablanca orders in the future or will they be delivered together?

In the course of 2021, we will ship all orders from one warehouse. At the beginning of the year, we will initially ship from two locations as part of the warehouse changeover. There may therefore be two deliveries. The usual delivery times and the quality of delivery should not be affected by this.

Does the initial order value change for joint orders from GILDE and Casablanca Design?

The initial order value for new customers remains at 500 euros. (Special conditions for each country – please contact the service team)

Are freight-free limits changing for joint orders?

The free-house limit remains unchanged at 1,500 euros. ( Special conditions for each country – please contact the service team)

III. Assortment and Articles

Do the item or EAN numbers change?

In principle, the respective item numbers remain, unless the respective article number is identical for Casablanca Design and GILDE. A new item number will then be assigned.
